Dr. Ang Li

Dr. Li is an expert in the total synthesis of complex natural products, including polycyclic and caged natural products. He also has researched efficient synthesis strategies based on molecular structural symmetry and biosynthetic pathways, alkaloid synthesis, novel bio-orthogonal reactions, and their applications in the chemical biology field. His collection of awards includes Young Chemistry Award of the Chinese Chemical Society – British Royal Chemical Society and Dr. Li currently serves as the deputy director of Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Biological Organic Chemistry.
